1•  What are the spine pathologies that this technique works most?

This technique works most for patients with disk injury, nerve root compression by osteophytes (arthritis), conditions after discektomies or laminectomies Or mechanical low back or neck pain with no clear MRI or CT scan changes. ^ Back to Top

2•  What are the spine pathologies that this technique are not useful for?

Severe fibrosis after spine surgeries, in the first 3 months after spine surgeries; Severe rheumatoid spine conditions; spondylolisthesis, after extensive spine fusion (more than 2 levels); Potts disease, arachnoiditis, Sacroiliac joint disorders.

This technique is evaluative/assessment and treatment package based on electrophysiologic procedures (EMG/H-reflex testing) whereas other techniques are mostly based on the clinical subjective evaluation of the clinician. Mckenzie and spinal decompression procedures use either mechanical manipulation of the spine or self-directed exercise program not based on neural compression monitoring. ^ Back to Top

No; this technique will treat the acual pathology & will result into lasting recovery.

5•  I have a spine surgery (discektomies or laminectomies) for sometimes that has flared up with recurring symptoms; Does this technique can solve my problem?

Absolutely; This technique will help to decompress the impinged nerve root with resolution of the leg or arm pain; open up the intervertebral foramina and help return of more normal neural signal in the nerve roots. What is EMG?

Electromyography (EMG) is a nerve test that evaluates the electrical condition of the neuromuscular function. EMG includes many procedures such as needle EMG testing, nerve conduction studies, H-reflex studies, F-waves studies as well as other procedures. H-reflex studies are used here to represent the EMG procedures. It is recorded using surface electrodes that are applied on the skin of the legs or the arms while electrically stimulating some of the leg or arm nerves (with surface electrodes). The patient will feel electrical pulses and the foot or the hand moves involuntarily. It is rather inconvenience for some patients who do not like small electrical pulses. Such sensation is more prominent in the first 5 min. during testing after which sensation is easily tolerated by almost every body. ^ Back to Top
